Making stuff is fun. I have an MFA in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Iowa. My work has earned a Society of Professional Journalists and Cannes Audience Choice awards. I've rafted 550 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. I live at the headwaters of the Arkansas River in Leadville, CO.

I have over 15 years of marketing experience, in strategy and copywriting. I've worked with brands like Filson, Dickies, LOGE adventure hotels, Seattle Office of Film + Music, Truvia, and Lagunitas Beer. I've planned festivals, built brand partnerships, and managed social media. I've been Marketing Director for local businesses Tennessee Pass Cookhouse and FREIGHT event center. ​
